Schedule and Boundaries.

Oologah, OK - Due to extremely dry and very dangerous conditions, Rural Water District No. 3, Rogers County has issued a notice to all its customers that it has implemented a MANDATROY WATER RATIONING for all Non-essential water usage: e.g. landscaping, yards, trees, gardens, car washing and pools.

Customers that do not comply with the schedule will receive a written warning for first offence and for subsequent offense(s) customers risk the shutting off of their water at the meter.

The Water District says, “The recent voluntary watering schedules have failed and left the (Water) District no choice but to implement mandatory water rationing.”  This is an extremely serious situation and if current conditions do not improve further and more stringent rationing could occur.  Low water levels affect potable water supplies and water available for fire protection.  The Water District asks that if everyone “conserves and follows the schedule carefully, hopefully we can get through this difficult time.”
